This week we have been studying The Cold War.  If you read our class blog, you won't be surprised at Friday's pop quiz!!  :)

Because of the length of WWII, our test has been delayed from last Friday until this Thursday, February 23rd.

This week we will be taking notes on WWII, in book groups, and watching various WWII video clips.  There will be a note test Friday.

Using a text book and discussing things, is one way of learning. However, in a time of war, like WWII, technology can make history come alive. Our country and others really sufffered to get where we are today....freedom!
***Don't forget that your permission slip to view various WWII video clips must be turned in by Monday, NO later than Tuesday, Febuary 14th.****

Transition week...

This week we will be taking a break from normal note taking... For a day or so, we will be discussing trademarks and advertising.  You will see what process is taken by government...from logos, trademarks, and patents--late 1800s up to 2012!

We will also spend one class period on Eleanor Roosevelt and see how she influenced America. Remember she was married to FDR during The Great Depression.

Next, we are heading into WW11.
