Well the last few weeks of school are here! We will be exploring a variety of Social Studies areas... from current events, our 30 human rights, and facts on our last three presidents. I hope you exit this class better than when you arrived in August! Remember the "golden rule:" treat others like you want to be treated! (Two quizzes and one test left). Have a great Summer!
The end of the year count down is here! We are now studying the Carter and Reagan era and working our way up to the 1990s. Like always: take your notes, study them, listen in class and your next test grade should be great!! I hope this year has been filled with fasinating history, so we can live in a better prepared present and future!
Don't forget next week is ARMT testing (Tue and Wed). Many things we have done in Social Studies will also help in testing areas. Think about all the maps, graphs, reading, writing, projects, and thinking we've done since August. This will give you even MORE brain power for testing! Remember to take your time, get enough sleep and eat breakfast. Get ready to SHOW OFF how much you know!
Information on our next project went out today. It's due, April 12th (Thursday). Remember you have a choice between FarceBook or a Decade Project. The earliest infomation shouldn't be before 1880 and the latest should be 1990s.
