End of the Year!




I hope everyone has had a great first sememster! We will have a bell work test tomorrow. 

 Hats off to most of the AP students! You did a great job on your WW1 projects!

Everyone should have two sections of notes from the 1920s.  We will pick up there after Christmas break, so keep up with them!


I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!  Here's to more learning and new discoveries in 2012!

graphics imagesUnfortunately, our country has been through several wars.  That's just part of our history and makes us who we are!  Next week, we will begin studying The Spanish American War and from there, going into World War One (WW1). Our Next test will be a bell work test on  Friday.  Note test (on wars) will be the following week.

Starting the week of September 26th, we will be discussing various inventors and their inventions.  Remember that projects are due on Wednesday, October 5th (letter went home this week).

Our next test will be a bell work test on Friday, September 30th (always open note book). The invention test will be the following Friday, October 7th.

Starting Monday, September 12th, we will begin Ch. 18 (Western Frontier).  Notes will be taken in class.  We will also be using our text book and viewing several clips from the promethean board and other sources.  Information about our first project will be going out (letter home) within the next week!

Test...

Students AND Parents,

Hopefully this will help as far as when we test and how it is done.

Bell Work Test----these are ALWAYS open notebook.  There's nothing you can study for.  Basically it's for accountability and organization.  We have these test every other week (first one is tomorrow). Bell Work is short morning assignments that get class started.

"Note" Test--these are usually every other week and are based on notes from the topic/chapter that we are covering.  A text book is not needed to study. Our first note test is next week (Bill of Rights).
